Sky Wholesale Table is developed and operated by Sky Apps ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information when merchants install and use the Sky Wholesale Table application ("the App") on the Shopify platform.

By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

a. Merchant Store Information

When you install the App, we receive your Shopify store domain, store name, contact email, and Shopify plan details. This information is provided by Shopify as part of the OAuth authentication process and is required for the App to function.

b. Session and Authentication Data

We store OAuth session tokens in our database to maintain your authenticated session with the App. These tokens are used solely to authorize API requests on your behalf.

c. App Configuration Data

Pricing tiers, discount offers, product assignments, and related settings that you create within the App are stored as Shopify metaobjects in your Shopify store, managed through the Shopify Admin API.

d. Usage and Analytics Data

We collect anonymized usage events such as tier table views, offer impressions, and feature interactions. This data is used to power the App's analytics dashboard and to improve the product.

e. Customer Data

The App does not directly collect, store, or process personal information from your customers. Discount calculations are performed by Shopify Functions, which run entirely within Shopify's infrastructure. The App does not have access to customer names, emails, addresses, or payment information.

2. How We Use Information

  • Authenticate your identity and maintain your session with the App.
  • Provide, operate, and maintain the wholesale pricing table functionality.
  • Display analytics and usage metrics on your App dashboard.
  • Respond to your support requests and troubleshoot issues.
  • Improve App reliability, performance, and features.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

  • Hosting and Infrastructure: The App is hosted on Render, and our database is managed on PostgreSQL. These providers process data solely to deliver the service on our behalf.
  • Shopify Platform: The App interacts with Shopify's APIs to read and write store data, manage metaobjects, and execute discount functions. Your use of Shopify is governed by Shopify's own privacy policy.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

4. Data Retention

We retain session and authentication data only for as long as the App is installed on your store. App configuration data (pricing tiers, offers) is stored as Shopify metaobjects within your Shopify store and is managed by Shopify.

When you uninstall the App, we delete your session data from our database. Metaobjects and metafields created by the App within your Shopify store remain under your control and can be managed through Shopify's admin interface.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure session management, and access controls on our database and hosting infrastructure.

While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and Tracking

The App does not set cookies on your customers' browsers. Within the Shopify admin, standard session cookies may be used by Shopify to manage your authenticated session. The App does not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing activities.
  • Request data portability.

8. GDPR Compliance

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your data based on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (providing the App's services), legitimate interest (improving the App), and compliance with legal obligations. 9. CCPA Compliance

The App is intended for use by Shopify merchants and is not directed at individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
